Aim

The aim of the exercise is to create an opportunity for NATO C-IED Staff officers to train in a full spectrum C-IED fight, from the tactical to operational level across multiple domains. The training audience will exercise a multiplicity of activities belonging to the three C-IED pillars, connecting the intelligence cycle and force protection measures to support decision making and targeting at all levels in a NATO/Joint Force Command HQs.

Audience

Desired Training Audience for exercise Northern Solution are staff officers OF 3-4 and staff assistants (OR 8-9) from NATO command and force structure, optional with training/experience of the C-IED Staff Officer Course and/or the Attack the Network Operational Course.
