C-IED COE delivers a new edition of the Analyst’s Notebook Users Course

From 19 to 23 October, the Counter-Improvised Explosive Devices Centre of Excellence (C-IED COE) delivered a new edition of the Analyst’s Notebook Users Course (ANUC) at its facilities in Hoyo de Manzanares, Madrid.

The course brought together eight participants from six different nationalities, representing various armed forces and law enforcement agencies.
The training combines theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the use of Analyst’s Notebook, a widely used tool in intelligence analysis. Its application supports the analysis of threat networks by helping identify relationships, critical capabilities and vulnerabilities, enabling analysts to make informed decisions and anticipate potential threats.

Through this initiative, the C-IED COE reinforces its commitment to specialised training and international cooperation, strengthening participants’ intelligence analysis capabilities and contributing to the prevention of IED attacks.
