The C-IED Centre of Excellence (C-IED COE) hosted the “WIT & DOMEX Training in Support of Spanish Armed Forces” initiative, aimed at addressing the support requirements identified by Spanish Armed Forces units and incorporated into the Centre’s 2026 Programme of Work.

The initiative focused on providing tactical and technical updates on the improvised explosive device threat, while enhancing procedures and the use of specialised equipment for Weapon Intelligence Teams (WIT) and Document and Media Exploitation (DOMEX).
he activity brought together highly qualified personnel from intelligence, military police, special operations and Explosive Ordnance Disposal units, fostering the exchange of technical and tactical expertise in Level 1 exploitation

Through initiatives like this, the C-IED COE continues to support capability development, strengthen interoperability and promote a coordinated response to complex threats, contributing to the operational readiness of the Spanish Armed Forces.
