Northern Solution Exercise
The C-IED Centre of Excellence (C-IED COE) is in the process of developing a comprehensive exercise designed to provide NATO C-IED Staff Officers with a realistic and immersive training experience across the full spectrum of Counter-IED operations. This exercise will enable participants to operate effectively from the tactical to the operational level, engaging across multiple domains in a complex, joint operational environment.
The training audience will be challenged to execute a wide range of activities aligned with the three foundational pillars of C-IED. The exercise will emphasize the integration of the intelligence cycle and force protection measures in order to support informed decision-making and precision targeting across all levels of command within a NATO or Joint Force Command Headquarters.
