Weapons Intelligence Team Trainer Developer Course
The aim of this course is to train and prepare Weapons Intelligence Team (WIT) Course Directors and Senior Instructors in the effective development, design, and delivery of WIT training programs.
Participants will be equipped with the knowledge and tools required to implement the latest updates to WIT skills, standards, and best practices. A key component of the course involves the creation and refinement of realistic, mission-relevant training scenarios and vignettes to ensure alignment with current operational requirements.
This course ensures that WIT training personnel are capable of maintaining high instructional standards and adapting course content to evolving threats, technologies, and tactical considerations in the field of Counter-IED exploitation and Weapons Technical Intelligence.
Course Prerequisites:
This course is open to personnel from NATO member nations and Interoperability Platform Nations (IPN). The course is classified as NATO UNCLASSIFIED – Releasable to IPN, and all participants must be authorized to attend training at this classification level.
A minimum English language proficiency of SLP 2222, in accordance with STANAG 6001, is required to ensure effective participation in discussions, instruction, and scenario-based activities.
Eligible students typically hold military ranks ranging from NATO OR-6 to OR-9 and OF-1 to OF-4, or equivalent civilian positions.
Preferred candidates should have a professional background as:
Course Directors or Senior Trainers involved in Weapons Intelligence Team (WIT) or technical exploitation training;
Personnel with experience in international or national Level 1 Technical Exploitation (or equivalent operational roles).
Participants should currently be, or soon to be, assigned to positions responsible for the development, management, or delivery of WIT training and related operational capabilities.
