Weapons Intelligence Team Course
The aim of this course is to deliver essential Level 1 Exploitation and Weapons Technical Intelligence (WTI) training to personnel assigned to teams tasked with responding to Improvised Explosive Device (IED) incidents. This training is intended to be completed prior to deployment into an operational theatre.
The course prepares Weapons Intelligence Teams (WITs) to effectively investigate IED incidents across a variety of operational environments. Trainees will develop the capability to collect, analyze, and report tactical, technical, and forensic information at the point of exploitation. The resulting standardized Level 1 reports will contribute directly to the Operations and Intelligence cycle, enhancing situational awareness and supporting more effective execution of Attack the Network (AtN) activities.
This training ensures that deployed WITs are equipped with the foundational skills necessary to support mission objectives through timely and accurate exploitation and intelligence reporting.
