Basic Field Exploitation Course
To deliver a comprehensive overview of the execution of Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) field exploitation operations. This encompasses both technical and forensic exploitation of IED incidents conducted at the point of occurrence. The primary goals are to rapidly gather actionable intelligence, support operational decision-making, and ensure the proper collection and preservation of evidence. This evidence may be critical for follow-on investigations, intelligence analysis, and potential legal or judicial proceedings.
Course Prerequisites:
Candidates must be from approved NATO partner nations or designated non-NATO countries and affiliated with governmental or non-governmental organizations operating in relevant fields. Applicants should possess a professional background in one or more of the following areas: Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), Engineering, Intelligence, Military Police, Law Enforcement, Special Operations, or Infantry.
Military personnel are typically required to hold a rank within NATO categories OR-4 to OR-8 or OF-1 to OF-3.
