The first iteration of the Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Practitioners Course for 2023 took place in the Oberammergau NATO School in Germany. This course is classified as NATO SECRET, was a training event that lasted one week and took place between 09 and 13 of January 2023. Thirty students from various backgrounds provided a diverse training audience. C-IED COE personnel that participated had the opportunity to enhance its competencies in conducting OSINT collection within the framework of the NATO Intelligence Cycle, with hands-on practice throughout. It also benefited from the equipment, facilities and overall organization of the NATO School and enjoyed the opportunity to interact among other professionals of a similar high level of professionalism, expertise and application of best practices.
