Attack the Network Operational Course (AtNOC)
Aim
The ATNOC provides NATO J2, J3, J5 and C-IED Staff Officers and Senior Staff Assistants from upper tactical (LCC, MCC, ACC, SOCC) and operational level commands with ATN related Situational Awareness. Emphasis will lay on knowledge and skills to integrate the comprehensive ATN approach across other HQ processes and disciplines (e.g. NATO OPP, intelligence, targeting and exploitation processes) in order to recommend lethal and non-lethal ways to engage all networks (threat, neutral and friendly) and to assess on the engagement effects.
Attendees
Officers (OF/2 to OF/4) and Senior NCO (OR 8 to OR 9) from across NCS, NFS, NATO nations and from the 7NNN partner nations. They should have background in Intelligence, Operations, Plans, Targeting, CT or C-IED. Law Enforcement and Intelligence Agencies are also welcomed to the course

The Counter Improvised Explosive Devices Centre of Excellence (C-IED COE) is an International Military Organization, multinationally manned and funded by contributions from 12 nations. Although it is accredited by NATO, a COE is not part of the NATO Command Structure (NCS), but forms part of the wider framework supporting NCS. It is established as a subsidiary body of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) in accordance with Article 9 of the North Atlantic Treaty and granted international status pursuant to Article 14 of the Paris Protocol.
